Matthews Abogado LLP is a Toronto based litigation firm founded by Linda Matthews and Greg Abogado. It focuses on insurance law, civil litigation, and personal injury, acting for insurers, insureds, and injured individuals across Ontario in matters that include coverage disputes, accident benefits, and catastrophic injury claims. Alongside its Toronto office on King Street West, the firm keeps a second office in London and a third office address in Renfrew, which it lists as its Ottawa office, so its litigators can appear in courthouses across several regions of the province. The firm has grown to about a dozen lawyers, split between partners and associates, supported by a team of clerks.

Both co-founders bring decades of trial work to the practice. Linda Matthews has focused on advocacy and insurance litigation for over 20 years, with a docket that has included jury and non-jury trials, appeals, and arbitrations on catastrophic injury claims. Greg Abogado has practiced civil litigation for more than 35 years, is a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation, and has taught as an instructor at Osgoode Hall Law School's Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop. Several of the firm's partners lead a dedicated long term disability practice group, and one partner served as president of Canadian Defence Lawyers, a national association for insurance defence counsel, in 2021 and 2022.
