About M.

Greg Abogado co-founded Matthews Abogado LLP and has spent more than 35 years handling civil litigation as senior trial counsel. He has led cases through jury and non-jury trials and private arbitrations, representing both plaintiffs and major insurers in complex personal injury matters such as spinal cord and brain injuries, fatalities, and motor vehicle liability claims. His practice also covers social host and liquor liability, property, product liability, and commercial general liability disputes. Greg has taught trial technique at continuing legal education events, including sessions on preparing jury questions and demonstrations at the OBA's Anatomy of a Trial program, and he instructed at Osgoode's Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop. He belongs to several professional groups, including the Advocates' Society and the Canadian Defence Lawyers, and holds a Certified Specialist designation in civil litigation.
