It traces its roots to 1924, when Harold Lawrence and Gordon Graydon, both Osgoode Hall graduates, opened a practice called Graydon & Lawrence in a town of about 4,551 people. Harold Lawrence's son Bill joined the practice in 1957, together with classmate Basil Stevenson, and the firm took the name it carries today. Lawrences marked its 100th anniversary in 2024, and the Law Society of Ontario sent formal congratulations on the milestone that May.
The firm practises across four core groups: business law, litigation, real estate, and wills, trusts and estates, serving clients throughout Peel Region, the Greater Toronto Area, and the rest of Southern Ontario.
