About Heather

Heather chairs the firm's Real Estate Group and serves as co-managing partner at Lawrences. Her practice centres on commercial real estate and land development, particularly residential, commercial, and industrial subdivisions and condominiums. She has extensive experience with commercial, industrial, and farm property purchases, sales, and secured transactions, as well as zoning, land use planning, and real estate financing. Heather also maintains a longstanding residential real estate practice, having completed thousands of purchases and sales over her career, with particular strength in cottage transactions and multi-generational family conveyancing. In her land development work, she guides both experienced builders and first-time developers from initial land acquisition through official plan amendments, rezoning, severances, and site plan or subdivision approvals, coordinating with surveyors, planners, architects, and municipal staff along the way.
