About Zosia
Zosia Hortsing joined Black Burke Mayor after previously representing employees and unions at another Vancouver-based labour law firm. Her practice covers labour, human rights, professional regulatory, and employment law, and she has appeared before various administrative tribunals, the Provincial Court of British Columbia, and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. During her time at Osgoode Hall Law School, Zosia completed two full-time placements as a caseworker in a Toronto legal aid clinic and participated in a successful unionizing drive that led to the clinic's first student bargaining unit. Before law school, she worked for several years as a public servant across policy areas including immigration and labour market development. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and the Canadian Bar Association, and assists clients in English and French.
