About Emily
Emily Wunder practices labour, employment, administrative, and human rights law. Following her call to the bar, she spent several years practising civil litigation in Ontario and later British Columbia. Before joining Black Burke Mayor, Emily worked at a Vancouver union-side labour and employment law firm, representing unions in labour arbitration, before labour relations tribunals, and in court. She has appeared before the British Columbia Labour Relations Board, the British Columbia Supreme Court, the Yukon Supreme Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Federal Court of Appeal. Emily graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2013 and holds an Honours BA in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Windsor (2009). She was called to the bar in Ontario in 2014 and in British Columbia in 2019. Emily uses the pronouns she/her.
