About Grace
Grace Lichtenwald is committed to representing unions and advocating for the rights of workers. Before joining Black Burke Mayor, Grace practiced with a full-service law firm in civil litigation, family law, and wills and estates. She graduated with a law degree from the University of British Columbia and holds a BA in Sociology, also from UBC. During law school, Grace worked at WorkSafeBC gaining experience with the workers' compensation system, spent a semester with the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic, and worked as a legal research assistant on housing and municipal planning projects. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association BC branch and assists clients in English and French.
