About Beck

Beck Park joined Black Burke Mayor after previously practising at a leading litigation firm in Vancouver, with experience litigating public interest matters in administrative, constitutional, and civil law contexts, and has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia. Beck completed a clerkship at the BC Supreme Court and, alongside advocating for workers and unions, maintains a prison law practice providing legal support to incarcerated clients. Seeing a need for more queer-friendly spaces within the legal profession, Beck founded a collective and forum in Vancouver for LGBTQ2SIA+ members of the legal community. Beck uses the pronouns she/they.
