Yinka Olusoga

About Yinka

Yinka Olusoga's practice covers corporate banking, leveraged finance, and structured finance. She acts for bank syndicates, non-bank lenders, and borrowers on cross-border deals such as credit facilities, bond offerings, and mezzanine financing. Olusoga has also worked on financing for large energy and mining projects and advises clients on debt financing compliance. She belongs to the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, takes part in Women in Mining Canada, and is active with Young Leaders in Infrastructure. Olusoga mentors students through Osgoode's Black Law Students' Association program and through the LAWS program for high schoolers, and she serves as a pro bono advisor for CARFAC. While in law school, she worked as a research and teaching assistant in the University of Ottawa's law faculty and later spent a semester at a Nigerian firm before her secondment to the Ontario Securities Commission.
