About Yara

Yara Assi practises business law, with a focus on commercial law, strategic advice, and dispute prevention and resolution. A member of the Bars of Quebec and Beirut, she advises business clients on legal, contractual and operational matters, drawing on experience in commercial litigation, complex dispute management and strategic negotiation. She holds a law degree and a master's in private law from the Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth, completed a legal requalification program at the Université de Montréal in 2023, and holds a graduate diploma in dispute prevention and resolution. She is a member of the Canada-Lebanon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Société des plaideurs.
