About Aya

Aya Chehab practises with BLP Avocats' litigation group, working on civil and commercial litigation as well as employment and real estate matters. She graduated from the Université de Montréal's law faculty in 2023, joined BLP as a law student in 2024, and was called to the bar in 2025 after articling with the firm. Before law school, she won the CSQ-Juripop criminal law mooting competition, and she previously worked as a legal assistant at a notarial firm, assisting notaries with real estate transactions and document drafting. She volunteers with the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, has coordinated the Projet Sapin des Fêtes holiday gift program, and has volunteered at a university legal clinic supporting immigrants entering the Quebec workforce.
