About William

William B. (Barney) McKinnon practises in wills and estates and real estate. He first qualified as a lawyer in his native New Zealand in 1979 and was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1982, practising in Victoria ever since. His main area of interest is estate planning and administration, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, representation agreements, and advance directives, alongside extensive real estate experience. He has taught business law at Camosun College and is a past executive member of the Victoria Bar Association and a member of the Canadian Bar Association.
