About Jeremy

Jeremy A. Burgess is a Litigation Associate at Reed Pope, practising corporate commercial litigation focused on disputes over real property, construction, commercial contracts, and corporate matters, including builders' liens, negligent construction claims, and commercial lease disputes. He also assists with residential tenancy matters, defamation claims, and insurance claims. Before joining Reed Pope, he practised as a corporate commercial litigator in the Okanagan for ten years, appearing before BC's Provincial, Supreme, and Appeal Courts and representing the Public Prosecution Service of Canada. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2012, holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria (2011) and a BA (Sociology major, Psychology minor) from UBC Okanagan (2008), and serves as a Board of Governors member at Camosun College.
