About Athena
Athena McLash's practice focuses on wills and estates, family law, real estate, and corporate and commercial matters, advising individuals, families, and business owners on estate planning and administration, property transactions, and business matters. Prior to joining Reed Pope, she operated her own practice on BC's Sunshine Coast, founding McLash Law in 2016, and became a Certified Family Law Mediator in 2019. She earned a BA (Joint Major in Criminology and Psychology) from Simon Fraser University in 2001 and an LLB with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2004, clerking with the Court of Queen's Bench for Saskatchewan before entering private practice. She was called to the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 2005 and the Law Society of British Columbia in 2006, and built her Sunshine Coast practice while raising three children before relocating to Vancouver Island.
