Will Boyer is a partner and leader of the Intellectual Property Litigation and Strategy Group in Canada in the Ottawa office, with a practice focused on patent litigation, particularly in pharmaceutical and biotechnology matters under Canada's Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. He regularly represents brand pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in high-stakes patent litigation before the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal. He also has expertise in patent-related Competition Act claims and assists clients with pharmaceutical regulatory matters including data protection and patent listing on Health Canada's Patent Register.
