About Wes
Wes Dutcher-Walls represents individuals and organizations in criminal, civil, constitutional, and administrative matters, with particular experience in criminal defence and complex civil litigation. He completed his JD at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2018, spending his first year at the University of California, Berkeley, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2019 and the British Columbia bar in 2025. Before joining Hunter Litigation Chambers, he articled and worked for five years as an associate at one of Canada's top litigation boutiques in Toronto, and was a member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association, contributing articles on search and seizure to the CLA's For the Defence magazine. Before law, he worked as a policy advisor in the Ontario provincial government on municipal governance and accountability.
