About Victoria

Victoria is an Independent Associate Counsel based in Whitehorse, Yukon, who works jointly with Ratcliff lawyers on administrative law, Indigenous law, traditional knowledge, administration of justice and trusts as they apply to Yukon First Nation issues. She was assistant negotiator and legal counsel for the Teslin Tlingit Council on Canada's first Administration of Justice Agreement, signed in 2011, and has served as chief negotiator for the Kwanlin Dün administration of justice negotiations since 2012. She is Tlingit and a member of the Gaanaxtei.di Clan, and serves as a political and legal advisor to the AFN Yukon Regional Chief. She earned her LL.B. from the University of Victoria in 1998 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2000 and the Yukon Bar in 2002.
