About Trent

Trent Howard is an associate on the litigation team at Scarfone Hawkins, moving between class actions, employment matters, and other files with the firm's Thompson, Moloci and Stanton group. He came to law after an unfulfilled dream of playing in the NHL and a trades apprenticeship that fell through, experiences he says give him perspective on the many paths people take to reach their goals. His practice covers civil, class action, and commercial litigation, construction law, and employment and labour law. He believes in frank conversations with clients about the risks, rewards, and realistic timelines of litigation. He was called to the bar in 2020 after a J.D. and B.A. (Hons.) from Western University.
