About Tom
Tom Beasley represents employers and employees in all aspects of the employment relationship, with an emphasis on human rights, employment standards, harassment, judicial reviews and wrongful dismissal, as well as workers' compensation and management-side labour relations. He acts for professionals in complaints before their regulatory boards and for RCMP members in employment matters, and regularly appears before the Human Rights Tribunal of BC, the Canadian Human Rights Commission and Tribunal, and BC's Employment Standards Branch and Tribunal. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1981 and the Bar of British Columbia in 1982. He holds an Hon. B.A. in Economics from UBC (1975), an M.A. in Economics from Queen's University (1976) and an LL.B. from Dalhousie University (1979), and is also active in underwater archaeology and maritime heritage organizations.
