About Tina

Tina Yang represents workers, consumers, investors, and other individuals seeking redress through the legal system, with a practice centred on class actions, mass torts, and broader civil litigation. Her class action work spans Charter and state accountability claims, institutional abuse, Indigenous rights, employment, privacy, consumer protection, securities fraud, and professional negligence matters, and she has served as counsel in the first Federal Court class action to reach a common issues trial. Licensed to practise in both Ontario and Saskatchewan, she has appeared before courts in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario, as well as the Federal Courts and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. She serves as Vice-Chair of the Class Actions Practice Group at the Advocates' Society and is recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada for her work in class action litigation.
