About Timothy

Tim McCunn is Senior Counsel and a member of the Business Law Group at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall, with over 30 years of experience in corporate, commercial and securities law, particularly mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance for the technology and life science sectors. His clients have ranged from entrepreneurs to mid-market corporations, crown corporations and not-for-profit organizations, and his work has included board and governance advice, initial public offerings, private placements and complex commercial agreements. In 1992 he was seconded to the Privy Council Office as Special Counsel on the drafting of the Referendum Act. McCunn was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1987 after earning his LL.B. from the University of Ottawa in 1985 and a B.Com. from McGill University in 1982, and he has been repeatedly recognized in Canadian Legal Lexpert's Directory for corporate commercial law, mid-market corporate work and private equity.
