About Terry

Terry is a partner whose practice covers Aboriginal law, banking and commercial lending, corporate law, real estate, and Italian law. He represents First Nations, Metis, and other Aboriginal interests on matters including bylaws, corporate structuring, elections, financing, governance, and joint ventures with the private sector, and has represented First Nations members and Metis in Residential School Claims. In banking and commercial lending he advises both lenders and borrowers on corporate lending, construction and acquisition financing, debt restructuring, and real estate financing, and his corporate practice covers structures, limited partnerships, acquisitions, and governance advice for corporations and directors. His real estate work spans residential and commercial transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, construction, and commercial leasing, and he also acts for the Government of Italy in Western Canada. He is fluent in Italian and was awarded a knighthood for his service to the Italian Republic.
