About Terra

Terra Welsh's practice is focused on labour, employment and professional regulation. Her labour and employment practice includes advising employers on employment contracts, employee manuals, collective agreement administration, discipline, terminations, wrongful dismissals, employment standards, human rights and workplace safety matters, and she appears as counsel before arbitrators, courts, the Manitoba Labour Board and human rights tribunals. In her professional regulation work, she advises self-governing professions and acts as counsel to complaints, discipline and appeal committees. Terra earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba in 2004, graduating as a Gold Medalist, and her Bachelor of Laws in 2007, and was called to the Manitoba bar in 2008. Best Lawyers in Canada has recognized her in labour and employment law, and she is a former Manitoba director of the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers.
