Ted Liu maintains a broad technology-focused practice that combines both commercial and M&A expertise. Liu counsels clients across a wide range of sectors, including investment firms, financial institutions, insurers, energy companies, medical device manufacturers, security software developers, and securities dealers, on complex outsourcing arrangements and other strategic corporate and commercial matters, such as infrastructure, application development, rewards programs, and data and payment processing. The practice also involves advising emerging companies on corporate and commercial issues, including mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions. Liu regularly advises clients on privacy, intellectual property, and data access and management matters, as well as contract structures for novel business arrangements.
