About Hilete

Hilete Stein is a partner at Green and Spiegel LLP and directs the firm's Canadian permanent residence practice group. The Law Society of Ontario has certified her as a Specialist in Citizenship and Immigration Law, and she has practised exclusively in Canadian immigration and citizenship law for more than 15 years. She represents both corporate and individual clients across the full range of immigration matters, including Express Entry streams such as the Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Worker programs, provincial nominee programs, business immigration through start-up and self-employed visas, family sponsorship, caregiver streams, and humanitarian applications. She also advises on PR card renewals, citizenship applications, and work authorizations such as intra-company transfers and treaty work permits, and has experience with admissibility, enforcement matters, and Federal Court litigation. Hilete earned her LL.B. and B.A. from the University of Western Ontario and was called to the Ontario bar in 2009.
