About Alex

Alex founded De Boyrie Law and practices criminal defence exclusively, serving clients across Toronto and the GTA. His work covers bail hearings, assault, sexual offence, drug, firearms, and impaired driving charges. He earned an Honours B.A. and an LL.B. with First Class Honours, then worked at another criminal defence firm in the GTA before opening his own practice. He has conducted numerous trials in the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, with a track record of having charges withdrawn or securing acquittals. He has appeared as a legal commentator on outlets including Global News, CBC, the Toronto Star, and Yahoo News. Alex is an active member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association, the Toronto Lawyers Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.
