About Taylor

Taylor D'Souza joined Oakley Family Law in June 2024. She is a member of Keeseekoose First Nation in Treaty 4 territory and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2022. During law school she received the Advocates' Society Indigenous Rights Award and the Native Women's Association of Canada Helen Bassett Commemorative Award. Her background spans civil litigation, Aboriginal law and family law. She is active with the Association of Women Lawyers Calgary and the Women's Centre of Calgary, previously served as Vice President of External Relations for her law school's Indigenous Law Students' Association, and has provided pro bono advocacy through Pro Bono Students Canada.
