About Alannah

Alannah Jensen holds a Juris Doctor in Common Law and a Juris Indigenarum Doctor in Indigenous Legal Orders from the University of Victoria, completed in 2024. She also holds a Bachelor of Management with a minor in First Nations' Governance from the University of Lethbridge and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Calgary, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2026. During law school she took part in field schools with the Pehdzeh Ki First Nation in the Northwest Territories and with the Cowichan Tribes in British Columbia. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, family law, and Aboriginal and Indigenous law, and she is fluent in both French and English.
