About David

David Chan grew up in a small town in Saskatchewan and studied at the University of Law in London Bloomsbury, graduating with First Class Honours in his Bachelor of Laws in 2022, followed by an LL.M with Distinction and a Postgraduate Law Bar Practice Diploma in 2023. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2023 and to the Bar of Alberta in 2025. Before law, he gained experience in startup ventures, business development, and contract management. His practice focuses on family law, criminal law, civil litigation, and Indigenous and Aboriginal law, and he is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in London.
