About Rana

Rana Ghanem practices primarily in civil litigation, Metis law, intellectual property litigation, and family law. She previously worked as a civil litigator at a boutique litigation firm and led the family law practice at a mid-sized firm, giving her experience at all levels of the Alberta court system. Her family law work covers divorce, custody, guardianship, parenting, mobility, support, and cohabitation and prenuptial agreements, while her civil litigation practice includes corporate and commercial disputes, construction disputes, and shareholder and creditor matters. Ghanem holds a Juris Doctor (2016), a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Spanish Language and Philosophy (2012), and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2010), all from the University of Alberta.
