About Taruna

Taruna Agrawal is responsible for supervising the Family Advocate Support team at Rise, which includes supervising the CLS lawyers, a family law advocate, and the Family Law Educator, as well as operating a Family Advocate Support Line and providing training to advocates and workers across BC, primarily in family law. Prior to Rise, Taruna worked at a boutique family law firm and operated her own family and immigration law practice. Her work is grounded in a commitment to equity and access to justice, with a particular focus on supporting individuals leaving abusive relationships secure the legal protections and support they need.
