About Stephen

Stephen Gibson has been a litigation lawyer with Murphy Battista LLP since 2003, focusing on personal injury and insurance matters ranging from motor vehicle negligence to product liability. He has resolved numerous major ICBC claims and represents clients with traumatic brain injury, paraplegia, quadriplegia, chronic pain, psychiatric injuries and other trauma-induced injuries, from doctors and tradespeople to firefighters, police and children. He believes understanding a client's job and lifestyle is critical to evaluating how their injuries will affect their future. Stephen earned his LLB from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 1997 and a B.Admin from Simon Fraser University in 1993, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 1998. He is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, where he has served as an executive, and of the American Association for Justice.
