About Maggie

Maggie is a staff lawyer at Rise whose position is funded by the Law Foundation of BC. Through this program she acts as a supervising lawyer for Law Foundation-funded family law advocates in mostly remote communities, supporting them to help families in small communities access the justice system. In her private practice outside of Rise, Maggie practises primarily in family law and serves as Family Duty Counsel for the Provincial Court in the territories of the Heiltsuk Nation (Bella Bella) and the Kitasoo Xai'Xais Nation (Klemtu).
