About Lindsay

Lindsay McGivern is a director at Pacific Medical Law, where her practice focuses on representing infants injured at birth or within their first month of life in medical negligence litigation. She has practised law since 2015, having articled at a civil litigation defence firm before joining Pacific Medical Law. McGivern is an adjunct professor at the UBC Allard School of Law, co-teaching the medical negligence course, and was recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada as 'One to Watch' in Medical Negligence from 2024 to 2026. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia and her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where she won the Wanda Szubielski Prize in Law and the Robert T. Donald Insurance Prize. She serves on the Executive of the BC Health Law subsection of the Canadian Bar Association.
