About Tara

Tara Argent holds a BSc (2002) and an MSc (2004) from the University of Alberta and an LLB from the University of Alberta (2007). She has practised exclusively in civil litigation since being called to the bar in 2008, with a predominant focus on personal injury and additional experience in insurance defence. She has conducted trials and appeals in Provincial Court, the Court of King's Bench, the Court of Appeal, and Federal Court, as well as mediations and judicial dispute resolutions. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Alberta, and the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association, and received a Best Lawyers award in 2021.
