About Khalid

Khalid Assaf grew up in Edmonton and studied law at Bond University in Australia, earning an LLB with Honours in 2018 before returning home. He was called to the Alberta bar in 2020. His practice is centred on civil rights, social justice, and civil liberties, with a focus on protecting the rights of underrepresented and marginalized people. He belongs to the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association and the Law Society of Alberta.
