About Randal

Randal Carlson graduated from the University of Alberta's law school in 1998. Before law he served as an infantry officer in the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, with UN deployments to Cyprus and the former Yugoslavia, and he maintained reserve officer status with the Loyal Edmonton Regiment during law school. He has practised in insurance and personal injury litigation as an associate and partner, including in-house work for an Alberta insurer, and has broad experience in mediations and judicial dispute resolutions. He has also been a sessional instructor in Insurance Law at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law and has trained articling students in interviewing and counselling.
