About Norm

Norm Assiff is the founder of Assiff Law. He earned a degree in biological sciences with a minor in physical sciences from the University of Alberta in 1989, then his law degree from the University of Alberta in 1998, the year he was called to the bar. He has practised exclusively in plaintiff personal injury litigation since then, representing accident and negligence victims. He was appointed King's Counsel in 2024 and served as president of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association in 2015-16. He belongs to the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Muslim Lawyers Association of Canada.
