About Kayla
Kayla Truong is an Edmonton native who earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Alberta in 2016 and a JD from the University of Alberta in 2019. She previously practised as a criminal defence lawyer, gaining extensive litigation and trial experience. During law school she volunteered with Student Legal Services, ran a legal clinic at the Boyle Street Community Centre, and interned with Legal Aid Alberta. She now practises personal injury law, focusing on accident and injury claims across Alberta, and volunteers with Hope Mission, The Mustard Seed, and Animal Justice Canada.
