About Tania
Tania Bariteau is a senior partner at Bariteau Dulysh, where her practice focuses on criminal litigation at the trial and appellate levels. She takes on serious indictable matters including homicides, manslaughter, firearms and drug trafficking, human trafficking, and sexual assault cases, appearing before both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. Her jury trial work has included a number of acquittals for clients facing serious charges. Tania is bilingual and offers services in both English and French. She earned her Licence en droit and Juris Doctorate from the University of Ottawa, where she led the criminal division of the university's Community Legal Clinic and received the George-Brown Award. Outside of law, she holds a second-degree black belt in Taekwon-do and has competed at the International World Championships three times.
