About Tamaira
Tamaira Davidson is a partner at Hicks Adams who joined the firm in 2019 and focuses her practice on criminal litigation before Ontario's Superior Court of Justice and its Ontario Court of Justice. She has conducted several jury trials and argued numerous Charter applications, and has handled cases spanning charges from mischief all the way to murder. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in 2020; in her final year she assisted on a lengthy, 12-week multi-count jury trial, and in her first year she worked with a legal clinic serving Indigenous clients, travelling across Northern Ontario to fly-in communities to advocate for them. Before law school she completed an honours BASc in Justice Studies at the University of Guelph. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2021 and belongs to the Criminal Law Association, the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, and Women in Canadian Criminal Defence.
