David G. Bayliss has practised criminal defence in Toronto since being called to the Ontario Bar in 1984, after articling with pioneering defence lawyers Jack Pinkofsky and James Lockyer. He formed his own firm in 2010 and has handled hundreds of jury and non-jury trials, focusing on murder, sexual assault, drug and firearms charges and Charter of Rights litigation. He is designated by Legal Aid Ontario as a member of the Complex Criminal Case Rate Panel.
