About Ed

Ed Ducharme is a criminal defence associate who regularly appears in both the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice. His practice centers on serious allegations, including firearms offences, drug trafficking, sexual offences, and major violent crimes such as armed robbery, home invasion, attempted murder, and aggravated assault. He has handled numerous bail hearings and trials, building his approach around identifying how the Crown intends to prove its case and then challenging the credibility and reliability of its witnesses. Ed holds a BA from the University of King's College, an LLB from the University of Leeds, and an LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School, and he was called to the Ontario bar in 2020.
