About Sydney

Sydney A. Snape joined Daykin Walker Kaderly Wahid LLP in 2023 to focus her practice on family law, including separation, divorce, complex property division, child and spousal support, parentage, guardianship, and parenting time. Originally from Saskatchewan, she received her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in 2022 after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of British Columbia in 2015. While in law school, Snape received the Law Foundation Public Interest Award and the CBABC Branch Award Scholarship, and in 2022 received the inaugural Justice Rosalie Silberman Abella Prize from the Royal Society of Canada. She has appeared before the Provincial Court, Supreme Court, and Court of Appeal of British Columbia.
