About Caitlin

Caitlin Cunningham is a litigator at Daykin Walker Kaderly Wahid LLP whose family law practice includes cohabitation and separation agreements, parenting matters, child and spousal support, and division of family property and debt. Before pursuing law, she completed a PhD in the history of law at the University of London and worked for years as a writer and educator. Cunningham holds a BA and MA in History from UBC, returned to UBC to complete her JD in 2024, and was called to the bar in 2025 after articling at a criminal law firm. She was editor of the Canadian Journal of Family Law while at Allard and has received Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council grants.
