About Shania
Shania Rattan joined McQuarrie's family litigation group after practising in both Alberta and British Columbia, where she has represented clients in the provincial and Supreme Courts of BC and Alberta's Court of Justice and Court of King's Bench. Before becoming a lawyer she worked for the federal government in Ottawa, including roles at Global Affairs Canada and the Canadian Commercial Corporation on government-to-government contracts. She received the Trek Scholarship in 2017 and 2018, and she volunteers extensively in animal rescue as a foster for the BC SPCA and HugABull Advocacy.
