About Penny
Penny Paul is a senior family law lawyer concentrating in divorce, division of property, child and spousal support, parenting plans, and marriage-like relationships, with over 40 years in practice. She received her law degree from the University of British Columbia in 1982 and was called to the bar of British Columbia in 1983, and has been in private practice ever since. She joined Mackoff Mohamed in September 2023 to lead the firm's Family Law Group, has published on BC divorce and family law, and is a qualified family law mediator. She was on the Dean's Honor List in the Accounting concentration in UBC's Faculty of Commerce and applies that background to complex property division cases involving business and corporate interests. A smaller part of her practice covers wills and estates, particularly as related to separation and divorce.
