About Steven
Steven Muller is Vice-President of Share Lawyers and concentrates on long-term disability litigation. He guides clients through the complexities of disability claims and is known among colleagues as a tenacious, dependable negotiator with deep experience in insurance law. Steven holds an LL.B. from the University of Windsor and a J.D. from the University of Detroit-Mercy, both earned in 1995, plus an LL.M. in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution completed in 2001. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1997 and to the British Columbia bar in 2018. He is a published writer on disability insurance litigation and has spoken to groups including the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and Osgoode Hall Law School. Steven has been ranked in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for long-term disability work in 2023 and 2024, testified before the Senate Social Affairs Committee on the Canada Disability Benefit, and received the John A. McLeish Award in 2023.
