About Iain

Iain Hollett was born and raised in Deer Lake. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Brunswick in 2000 and his law degree from UNB in 2003. He clerked at the New Brunswick Court of Appeal and was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 2004, then called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2008 and moved back to reside in Conception Bay South. He has over 15 years of experience working with Crown Prosecutors' offices in New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador, appearing regularly at all levels of court including jury trials and appeals before the NL Court of Appeal, and has argued multiple cases before the Supreme Court of Canada. His practice focuses on criminal law, including appeals, civil litigation, personal injury, and wills and estates.
