About Stephanie
Stephanie Spezza is a senior associate concentrating on corporate law, with an emphasis on debt finance, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity. She has represented both lenders and borrowers in domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including syndicated and bilateral deals, acquisition financings and asset-based lending arrangements. Stephanie also has experience with public and private M&A transactions, acting for both acquiring companies and targets. Before joining Torys, she worked as a legal intern at a major Canadian food and pharmacy company. During her studies, she volunteered at the Osgoode Business Clinic, providing legal services to small businesses, and also contributed to the Law in Action Within Schools program, which uses legal education to help high school students succeed and become engaged citizens.
